Nuclear Technology is very competitive and largely applied for troubleshooting and routine inspection in petrochemical and chemical industrial processes. Gamma scanning might be the best technique to carry out an internal inspection of any process equipment, without interrupting production. Gamma tomography, moreover, has been developed to improve the performance of the gamma ray scanning. These techniques have been applied on industrial processing unit such as tray column, packed bed column, and heat exchanger.
